Meeting Friends

We met the friends we met on our last visit to Kathmandu. It was such delightful reunions.

Meet Larensa (L) and Arti (R). They are a couple. Samantha met them in 2009. Larensa is a microbiologist and she has invited our family to her Lab in Nepal Academy of Science and Technology. Arti is a Lawyer and a Professor in a College at the same time.

These are some friends we meet Saturdays during a fellowship.

With Tita Mags, a Filipino friend, during the Holi Festival, wherein Nepalis go around, wiping colored powder to people's faces and spray water too, just like our San Juan fiesta.

We reconnected with Umesh and met his wife Deepti for the first time. Samundra joined us too. She is a pediatrician and all of them are very fond of our daughters. Samantha took this photo.

We invited Imee's friend, Isha, for lunch. She is a vegetarian so we prepared two kinds of pasta sauces.

Samundra brought the girls on a date. They spent time reading in the biggest bookstore in Kathmandu before going for the ice cream treat. The girls truly enjoyed riding with her on her scooty.
