Our Neighborhood

We found a house after a 20-house hunt. Everything in it is an answer to our prayers. Every specific detail. When we saw it first, the children liked it already, in that even if we saw some 20 houses more, they kept on asking we go back to the house they liked. We kept on praying for it because the lease cost was beyond our budget. We negotiated with the owner three times and she lowered the lease three times too. We would do Jericho prayer march around that house whenever we walk past it. Finally after one month, we were able to move in from the guest house we temporarily stayed in. Every person that visits us can hear our testimony how God gave us our house.

Here are photos of what one can see around the guesthouse we first stayed in, including the sunset. Our house is just on the opposite site of the block.

More than a postcard

Houses from the rooftop view
Due to limited land space, houses in Nepal are built upward with rooftops for washing of laundry, drying clothes, and refuge for sunlight during the cold months.
